Upcoming Conferences:

 

The 2022 American Control Conference will be held at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta on June 8-10. This conference is co-sponsored by the IEEE Control Systems Society and covers a broad range of topics including methodologies such as estimation, learning, adaptation, optimization, stability, AI, and nonlinear control as well as applications in robotics, traffic control, vehicles, batteries, aerospace, biological systems, cybersecurity, and process control. There will be a selection of 15 preconference workshops held June 6 and 7 on selected topics in applied and emerging areas. The plenary speakers include Dr. Ayanna Howard, Dean of Engineering at The Ohio State University who will speak on AI and human behavior; Dr. Frank Doyle, Dean of Engineering at Harvard University, who will speak about control and personalized medicine; and Dr. Draguna Vrabie from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, who will speak about deep learning method. The preliminary conference program shows the details of the program, and emphasizes the range of topics covered. The deadline for early registration is May 1, and members of IEEE receive a reduced conference rate.

 

Past Atlanta Section Conferences:

 

The annual Region 3 Technical, Professional, and Student Conference, SoutheastCon 2022, will be held in Mobile Alabama from March 31st to April 03rd 2022. It brings together Computer Scientists, Electrical, and Computer Engineering professionals, faculty and students to share the latest information through technical sessions, tutorials, and exhibits. It is the most influential conference in Region 3 for promoting awareness of the technical contributions made by our profession to the advancement of engineering science and to the community.

 

 

The largest Power and Energy Society conference and Expo, IEEE Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Conference is happening in New Orleans, April 25-28. This conference is a great opportunity to learn about the latest and greatest in the Power & Energy field.

The 2021 IEEE Radar Conference was hosted by the IEEE Atlanta Section and the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS).
