KSU MOVE Regional Symposium and LMAG award Atlanta R3

The MOVE Regional Symposium is a one-day event scheduled on September 19, 2025, at the KSU Prillaman Hall. The address is 520 Parliament Garden Way NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. The event will bring together researchers, clinicians, engineers, and students from across Georgia and the Southeast to share their work, build collaborations, and advance innovation in: - Rehabilitation and assistive robotics - Prosthetics and exoskeletons - Neural interface technology - Mobility science - Digital health and AI Registration is free and open to faculty, students, industry professionals, and clinical partners. Faculty are welcome to attend, and participants are welcome to present their work through either a poster or a 5-minute research pitch. We see this symposium as a platform to initiate and strengthen collaborations with faculty, and we would greatly value their participation. The flyer is attached to the email. IEEE PES Atlanta – Substation Grounding (IEEE std 80) Tutorial

The substation grounding tutorial will present the design philosophy of IEEE-80, Guide for Safety in AC Substation Grounding, through the review of the historical development of the Guide. The important advances in substation grounding will be discussed from the development of the equations of simple ground resistance electrodes to sophisticated computer programs, the interaction of the substation ground grid and current flowing through the earth that produce earth potentials, human response to these earth potentials and the criteria to design a safe substation ground grid to control the earth potentials to safe levels.
