IEEE USA’s role in Shaping Technology Policy

Join us as we learn how IEEE-USA represents the engineering profession to the US government by helping shape American technology policy for the benefit of IEEE members, the technology professions, and the broader American public. Annie Perrin recently presented to the IEEE Eastern Idaho Section regarding the IEEE Congressional Outreach Program (ICOP) and is excited to present to the Atlanta Section. Additional guest speakers will be in attendance as well from our Section. With a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mary Washington, Annie Perrin has navigated various positions, including roles with the U.S. House of Representatives and on a Congressional Political Campaign. In her recent position at COVID Survivors for Change, Annie Perrin spearheaded a national grassroots organizing program to support individuals affected by COVID-19, including those suffering from Long COVID. She oversaw strategic planning and managed outreach efforts to engage thousands of volunteers and survivors. With her attention to detail and dedication, Annie Perrin continues to make impactful contributions to the causes she champions.
