Subject: URGENT need for FSN Volunteers for Ocee Elementary – March 5th
Ocee Elementary School’s (4375 Kimball Bridge Road in Johns Creek) FSN is Thursday, March 5 and has exceeded their attendance expectations! I am in URGENT need for guest science instructors.
As a guest science instructor, you would lead three, identical, twenty five-minute activities with students & families that have pre-registered.
I will match an activity to your area of interest and will forward you the instructions and description of the activity. In addition, I will have the supplies waiting in your classroom at FSN.
Ocee’s FSN begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends before 8:00 p.m. Period A is from 6:30 to 6:55, Period B is from 7:00 to 7:25, and Period C is from 7:30 to 7:55. We provide refreshments and a light dinner for all of our volunteers, it will be available on the school’s campus beginning around 5:30 or so.

These are the IEEE Atlanta Section March announcements. As always, feel free to contact any section or chapter officer if you are in need of more information. Volunteers needed! Volunteers needed for IEEE’s Kids Science Pavilion at the ASF’s Exploration Expo You will have the opportunity to share your expertise with K-5 students and their families. We are going to have several ongoing activities in our pavilion as well as scheduled demonstrations. As a guest science ambassador, you will guide students along while they explore the science in Oreos, discover centripetal force with a balloon, and much more.
